These are high quality 8-panel digipak CDs with excellent full colour printing and moreover have a stunning metallic effect throughout in addition to gloss raised UV lamination done on parts of the fitting artwork by Austin Weber. This is the first press of the CD which is limited and hand-numbered to 500 copies. Each CD comes with a download code and a transparent logo sticker.
Canadian death metal band Ignominy unleash dissonant death metal that's aggressive, punchy and hook-laden, which is rare to find in a style that tends to be more abstract and unpredictable. There is a deliberate structure and coherency in their music which doesn't restrict their music but in fact aids it and makes it more powerful and memorable. The otherworldly atmosphere that it exudes, emphasised by the two interludes in the middle, is made all the more menacing because of their forceful approach. Ignominy stand out because their music is not only cerebral but also capable of simultaneously exhibiting brute strength. It's strong, compelling death metal that retains the best qualities while doing justice to the contemporary style. And with the album unravelling, they gradually slide into a more experimentative mode, playing darker, moodier and elevated atmospheric music.
